Job Description

This position offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. You’ll be involved in all phases of diverse projects — from early design to execution — working with both public and private sector clients across the Netherlands and internationally.

As a Structural Engineer, you will:
Deliver structural engineering services across a range of new-build and renovation projects, contributing to all design stages, permitting processes, and occasional site inspections.
Coordinate internally and externally across project phases to ensure high-quality deliverables that align with multidisciplinary design requirements.
Collaborate closely with experts from related fields such as geotechnical engineering, building physics, fire safety, acoustics, and mechanical and electrical systems, as well as with project management and business development teams.
Contribute to innovative, sustainable design solutions that meet the highest technical and environmental standards.
Engage with clients, participate in design workshops, and help develop digital and computational workflows to optimize project delivery.
Review your own work and prepare documentation for internal and external quality checks.

About You:
We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer with at least three years of experience to join a growing building structures team based in the Netherlands. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and involvement in a wide variety of projects.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
3–5 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
Proven experience in the structural design of steel and concrete structures, including detailing and connection design.
Proficiency in finite element analysis software (e.g., GSA, SAP, MIDAS, or equivalent).
Understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and experience using 3D modeling software such as Revit, Rhino, or AutoCAD.
Familiarity with parametric design and computational tools for modeling and analysis of complex structures.
Experience working on building projects, including preparing specifications and structural documentation.
Experience with timber structures is considered an advantage.
Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.
