Job Description

Job Title: Solids Control Lead (80–90-day contract)

Location: Cyprus

Start Date: End of April 2023

We are seeking an experienced Solids Control Lead for a contract role in Cyprus within the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of solids control equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the solids control team in the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems used to manage and process drilling fluids and cuttings.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all documentation related to solids control operations, including inventory tracking, equipment maintenance logs, and incident reports.
  • Monitor and maintain solids control systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Train and supervise team members in the proper operation and maintenance of solids control equipment and systems.
  • Perform quality control checks and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all solids control operations and communications.

Requirements:

  • Confined Space Entry training
  • Previous experience in solids control operations in the oil and gas sector
  • Must have a European passport or be a resident of Europe.
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
