Leap29 is currently seeking an experienced Senior M&A Analyst to join a growing team in Latin America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, and will have the opportunity to play a key role in strategic transactions across Brazil, Mexico and the wider LATAM region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead M&A activities, including analysis, valuation, and transaction execution.
• Strong financial modelling skills to support deal analysis and decision-making.
• Support project sales and potential PPA negotiations, initially focusing on Brazil, with expansion to Mexico in the near term.
• Work closely with internal teams across finance, development, and business development.
• Contribute to strategy and pipeline evaluation for renewable and energy storage projects.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in M&A, ideally within renewables
• Knowledge of BESS (standalone) is highly desirable.
• Experience with PPA negotiation and commercial agreements.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
