The position of Senior Electrical Engineer on this project is a varied role which requires versatility and a highly competent professional.

 

Why?

 

The project is multi location across different sites in Norway before final module construction in Egersund, with final engineering in Stavanger and Egersund.

 

On this project, the role of the Senior Electrical Engineer is for someone experienced to be on the client side, liaising with contractors, handling engineering assurance and construction supervision, in addition perhaps commissioning supervision later on.

 

The most important that this role requires someone to start in February / March 2023, so the client requires someone within Europe.

 

Requirements…

 

  • Typically has 15+ years’ experience in big projects “Concept Design, Feed phase, EPC and detailed electrical engineering”
  • Preferable client side engineering experience
  • Strong background in HV/MV/LV Electrical Engineering, especially in High Voltage design.
  • Provide technical  supervision for one larger or more smaller projects.
  • Familiar with Power system studies checking capabilities: LF, SCC & motor starting, as minimum
  • Prepare specification & data sheets for purchase of electrical equipment and materials (inc. technical bid evaluation and review of Vendor documentation)
  • Preparation of man-hour estimations for different project phases and writing proposals content.
  • Participate in project meetings: kick-off, technical clarifications, design/constructability review, 3D-model review
  • Engineering coordination for multidisciplinary activities/ Ensure interfaces are covered properly in the electrical design (interdisciplinary/customer/vendors/contractors)
