Medior+ Python Developer 

I’m currently working with an established technology business that is looking for a Medior+ Python Developer with strong backend/API experience to join their development team.

A great opportunity for someone who enjoys building modern applications, working with new technologies and taking real ownership of their work.

The Role

• Develop, test and deploy Python applications and services
• Build and maintain backend/API functionality
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Work closely with other teams on new functionality
• Support and mentor junior developers
• Contribute to technical improvements and new technologies
• Take ownership of work within a 24/7 production environment

• Python
• Pydantic
• SQLAlchemy / OpenAPI
• RabbitMQ
• MySQL / Redis
• Kubernetes (K8s)
• GitLab Runners / Continuous Deployment
• OpenTofu / Infrastructure as Code
• Cloud-based SaaS

What we need

• 3+ years’ Python development experience
• Strong backend/API development background
• Good Linux knowledge
• Experience with SQLAlchemy and OpenAPI
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
• Event-driven architecture experience is beneficial
• Travel, airline or ticketing industry experience is a bonus
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Strong ownership and responsibility in production environments
