Project Engineering Manager – Malaysia – 12 months Contract Extendable
Location: Klang, Malaysia
Notice: ASAP
Project: Edible Oils factory – 2.5 years project
Contract: 12 Months Contract initially (Renewable for a further 18 months or Permanent if agreed)
The Company
Multinational Ingredient manufacturer supplying services to the food, beverage agricultural and animal nutrition industry.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Project Engineering Manager will lead the design and execution of safe, regulatory compliant and competitive build capital projects that are operationally efficient, reliable and operate right the first time. In this role, you will lead the conceptual, detailed engineering design over the entire timeframe of a project. You will lead the technical engineering and design of highly complex build projects including providing direction to external engineering firms, incorporating external and internal design standards and requirements, collaborating across engineering disciplines in the development and completion of engineering deliverables, development and tracking of the engineering schedule and engineering cost estimates.
Candidates Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Lean six sigma.
- Experience with capital planning portfolio management.
- Experience with gap assessment and solution identification.
- Minimum of six years of related work experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply.
- Three years of supervisory experience (Preferred)
- Familiar with project management tools such as Microsoft project, AutoCAD, 3D software (BEAMS, NAVISWORK or equivalent) & Primavera. (Preferred)
- Have an understanding on PLC/DCS implementation. (Preferred)
- Knowledge on sequential function chart (SFC) & State Based Control (SBC) will be an advantage.
