Job: Process Engineer
Location: Oslo, Norway
Position: Contract (ASAP- Dec 2027)
Experience: 4-6 years
Position Overview:
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing industrial processes to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability. You will work closely with the discipline lead as well as multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
Please note, the candidate in question must be living in Norway currently and have at least 1 years’ experience working on Norwegian projects.
Experience:
- 4+ years total experience as a Process Engineer
- Experience working for EPCI companies on Equinor/ AkerBP projects preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop process designs and simulations using industry-standard software tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS) Create PFDs and P&IDs to support project development.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure process designs are integrated into overall project plans. Assist in the development of project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases of projects. Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure all process designs comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in process engineering in the oil and gas sector.
- Proficiency in process simulation and design software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, AutoCAD,).
