Power Origination Project Manager – Renewable-Powered Data Centers

We are assisting a leading developer in their search for a Power Origination Project Manager to secure renewable energy supply for large-scale data centre developments, based in France. The role focuses on identifying, negotiating, and delivering cost-effective, sustainable power solutions to meet high-demand operational needs.

What You’ll Do

• Identify, evaluate, and secure renewable energy sources (solar, wind, hydro, or hybrid) to meet site requirements.
• Negotiate PPAs and grid connection terms with utilities, developers, and IPPs…
• Collaborate with development, engineering, and operations teams to integrate power supply strategy into the overall project lifecycle.
• Analyse market trends, policy changes, and grid capacity constraints to inform procurement decisions.
• Manage relationships with regulators, network operators, and renewable project stakeholders.
• Monitor project delivery against contractual and performance obligations.

What You Bring

• 7+ years’ experience in renewable energy project development, power origination, or energy procurement, ideally with exposure to data center or other high-demand energy sectors.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and a proven track record closing complex PPAs.
• Knowledge of French and EU energy regulations, grid connection processes, and renewable market dynamics.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical, commercial, and regulatory domains.
• Fluency in French and English.
