Job Description
Pipeline Engineer
Leap29 Nederland B.V. is currently searching for a talented and experienced Pipeline Engineer to join a dynamic team. This is a full-time position located close to Zaandam, with a flexible schedule that includes 2-3 office days and regular site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain pipeline systems to ensure safe and efficient transportation of materials.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage and oversee pipeline construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of pipeline systems to ensure operational integrity.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the operations team in resolving pipeline-related issues.
- Prepare and review technical reports, documentation, and safety case amendments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipeline engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch and international safety regulations and standards.
- Proven expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, and emergency preparedness.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with pipeline construction and maintenance in high-risk operational environments.
- Familiarity with industry-specific tools and databases.
- Certification in ISO standards and incident investigation.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to travel for site visits and inspections.
