Manufacturing Technician (Tubing)
Location Bergen
Assignment 7 months with potential extension
Working hours Day shift 07:00–15:00
Overtime Standard overtime rates 50 percent and 100 percent

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to support tubing activities within a production environment in Bergen. The role focuses on small bore tubing work only and does not include piping or welding. You will be responsible for fabrication, assembly, testing, and documentation in line with approved procedures, drawings, and quality requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute daily work activities within own area of responsibility

  • Perform tube bending and tubing assembly according to drawings and procedures

  • Carry out pressure testing, flushing, and related test activities

  • Complete function and fit testing with associated control documentation

  • Review, follow, and sign off electronic work instructions and test procedures

  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained, serviceable, and ready for use

  • Complete all required quality documentation and comply with quality systems

  • Follow NCR procedures and company codes of conduct

  • Maintain a strong and consistent focus on HSE, quality, and ethical standards

 

Required Skills and Competence

  • Solid technical understanding of hydraulic systems

  • Experience working with small bore tubing and hydraulic assemblies

  • Structured, systematic, and quality focused approach to work

  • Practical and solution oriented mindset

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Flexible attitude to tasks and working hours when required

  • Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and reporting structures

  • Commitment to safe working practices and delivery targets

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate of apprenticeship or equivalent proven experience through documented training and work history

  • Experience in fabrication, assembly, and testing of tubing and small bore piping

  • Proven experience flushing hydraulic systems in accordance with industry standards
