Instrumentation and Control Engineer (Petrochemicals)- Rotterdam, Netherlands.


I am working with multiple clients who are world leaders in the global petrochemical markets. Due to multiple projects being in motion, these clients are now looking for Instrumentation Engineers to be employed on a renewable contractual basis. A successful candidate will be involved in a rich variety of projects within the petrochemical market.

   Work in all phases of the engineering design process whilst working to required planning, quality, and budget specifications.

   Preparing design work scope packages for multiple stakeholders.

   Taking part in research in HAZOP and SIL studies

   Be a point of contact with clients, vendors, and other engineering disciplines.

   Act as a subject matter expert (SME) when reviewing existing and new I&C literature for ongoing projects.

   Be able to provide relevant and workable solutions to technical queries.

   Be responsible for ensuring the relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations, and procedures are adhered to when designs are being produced.



   Be located/ possess the right to work in the Netherlands.

   8 year or more of relevant experience in the I&C discipline.

   Working communication skills in English and/or Dutch.

   Experience in Petrochemical projects.

   Working experience of cooperating with remote offices.
