We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a well-established engineering and design company based in Rotterdam, specialising in advanced solutions for the offshore and marine energy sector. The business delivers high-quality, innovative engineering products and integrated systems to a global client base, supporting projects from concept through to installation and commissioning.

Required Experience
The successful candidate will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline) and have proven experience in engineering design and technical coordination. Strong knowledge of AC distribution systems, drive systems, and electrical power studies is essential, along with experience working to industry standards, regulations, and quality procedures. The role suits someone comfortable in fast-paced, client-focused project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed engineering designs and technical solutions across project phases

• Lead and coordinate the design of assigned electrical systems and equipment

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and quality requirements

• Perform and verify electrical power studies and system analyses

• Prepare technical specifications and review supplier documentation

• Manage system interfaces and support integration with auxiliary and secondary systems

• Participate in design reviews, FATs, and continuous improvement initiatives
