Electrical Engineer – MEP Team, Amsterdam

A leading MEP team in Amsterdam is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a 12-month contract with potential for permanent hire. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects across healthcare, commercial, industrial, and educational sectors, contributing from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems including lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, ICT, security, and vertical transport.

• Prepare design and contract documentation.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

• Conduct conceptual studies and technical reporting.

• Maintain high-quality design standards.

Requirements:

• Technical education in electrical engineering or installation technology (HBO level or equivalent).

• ~2 years’ experience in a consultancy environment.

• Experience with HV/LV distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems.

• Familiarity with software like Amtech, Caneco, or SKM.

• Fluent in Dutch and English.

• Team-oriented and proactive.

Preferred:

• Experience in Science, Industry, and Technology (SIT) projects.

• Knowledge of Dutch codes, standards, and permits.

• Revit/BIM experience.
