Job Title: Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Location: Bergen, Norway (Rotational Basis)
Contract: 12 Months

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support a major Oil and Gas project based in Bergen, Norway. This is a 12-month contract role working on a rotational schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute commissioning activities for electrical systems in line with project schedules and procedures

• Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning of LV/MV electrical equipment and systems

• Troubleshoot, test, and verify electrical installations to ensure compliance with design and safety requirements

• Review and approve technical documentation, test procedures, and commissioning reports

• Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and project teams to ensure safe and efficient execution

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with HSE standards and local regulations

• Support punch list activities and follow up on completions and handovers

Requirements:

• Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar

• Proven experience in electrical commissioning on offshore or large industrial projects

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and control panels

• Familiarity with Norwegian standards and offshore commissioning practices is an advantage

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure

• Valid offshore certifications (or ability to obtain)

• Willingness to work on a rotational basis out of Bergen
