Design HSE Consultant (Fire Protection, Noise reduction, Safety engineering)

Location: The Netherlands

Duration: 12 months renewable

Leap29 are currently seeking Senior Design HSE Consultants, with expertise related to either Loss prevention/ Fire Protection, Noise safety, and safety engineering expertise. The Design HSE’s are responsible for the Design HSE Management/ Regulatory Compliance/ Technical Safety/ Environmental Engineering/ Loss Prevention/ Human Factor Engineering/ Sustainability.

Requirements:

• Leadership skills in Design HSE.
• Ability to handle multi-office projects.
• Carry the responsibility for the project success.
• Plan and manage the work such as budget, man-hour estimates and margin goals.
• Be involved in development and implementation of activities.
• Personal responsibility for safe and healthy environment.
• Work efficiently in a team with both project management and other disciplines.
• Excellent communication and co-ordination skills.

Technical Experience:

• Fire Protection Philosophy: Active Fire Protection, Fire water demand calculation, Hydraulic calculations, FW layout, P&ID’s, Heat radiation contours.
• Passive Fire Protections: Specifications, layouts.
• Fire and Gas Detection: Philosophy, specifications, requisitions, layout.
• Environmental and Working control of Noise
• Preparing Noise Philosophy and Noise Strategy documentation
• Noise Allocation Table.
• Noise Model / Reporting (including Noise reporting for authorities).
• Safety Engineering consultants are responsible for: Safety Engineering Management/ Regulatory Compliance/ Technical Safety/ Environmental Engineering/ Loss Prevention/ Human Factor Engineering/ Sustainability/ Noise.

Experience Qualifications:

• Masters or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or relevant,
• Experience of Design HSE work in the (Petro) chemical industry,
• Capable of working independently,
• Familiar with Dutch, German and international rules and regulations,
• Dutch, English language.
• Microsoft office tools,
• Experience with Pipenet.
