Design Project Manager

At Leap29 we are partnering with a global consulting business, our client supports the engineering, design, construction and execution of advanced facilities and we have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join them to support projects in the French speaking region of Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Manages delivery of individual projects and holds primary responsibility for achievement of cost, schedule and quality objectives.
• Oversees activities of Project Engineers, Construction Manager and Site Superintendents on assigned projects.
• Manages the delivery of design in conjunction with Design Managers.
• Manages the compliance approach of projects.
• Ensures achievement of safety objectives on assigned projects.
• Ensures achievement of corporate goals for assigned projects.
• Coordinates resources to achieve project goals.
• Manages client interaction on assigned projects and promotes positive relationships.
• Identifies risks to project and corporation and works with EMEA Management team to mitigate risks.
• Special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience executing project delivery, 5 of which must be in a Project Management role.
• Life science experience (Biotechnology, cell and gene therapy, Aseptic processing).
• Fluent in French and English
