What You’ll Be Doing
-
Lead and support a range of IT security projects, ensuring secure and timely delivery

Manage and maintain cybersecurity tools for both on-prem and cloud environments (cloud being a key focus)

Implement, configure, and update security solutions including EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, and cloud security tools

Collaborate with internal IT, development, and third-party teams to embed security across all operations

Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and OSINT investigations

Monitor emerging threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and new CVEs, assessing their potential impact

Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and recommending improvements

Deliver engaging security awareness training across the business

Provide security guidance for new technologies and strategic initiatives
-
Support day-to-day security operations and enforce strong change control processes

Assist with SOC alerts, investigations, and escalations
What We’re Looking For
-
Proven experience in a Cyber Security Engineer or similar technical security role
-
Strong understanding of network, infrastructure, and application security principles
-
Practical experience with security tools and platforms, both on-prem and cloud-based
-
Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)

Experience in risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response
-
Hands-on experience configuring and managing cloud security tools and IAM solutions
-
Knowledge of EDR platforms and vulnerability management processes

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, Azure Security Engineer) desirable
-
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues for non-technical audiences

Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
