Job Title: Terraform Specialist – Cloud Infrastructure

About the Role:
We are supporting a leading cloud transformation partner on a 12-month remote project, delivering infrastructure solutions for clients in financial services, telecom, and enterprise technology. We are looking for a highly skilled Terraform Specialist to join the team and lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation using Terraform.

This is a hands-on, technically challenging role ideal for someone with deep Terraform experience who enjoys building, maintaining, and scaling cloud infrastructure efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Terraform code for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Build reusable, modular Terraform components to standardize infrastructure deployment across projects.
• Manage Terraform state files securely and implement best practices for state management and remote backends.
• Integrate Terraform workflows into CI/CD pipelines to enable automated, repeatable infrastructure deployments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to ensure infrastructure compliance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure provisioning issues related to Terraform configurations.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing to promote Terraform best practices across the organization.
• Stay updated with the latest Terraform releases, features, and community practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven, hands-on experience as a Terraform Specialist or Engineer with complex cloud environments.
• Strong proficiency in writing, debugging, and optimizing Terraform code.
• Experience managing infrastructure on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid understanding of Terraform state management, modules, workspaces, and remote backends.
• Familiarity with integrating Terraform in automated pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of related tools and practices such as Terragrunt, Sentinel policies, or Terraform Cloud/Enterprise is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, remote, and technical environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
