I currently have a role available as a Civil Structural engineer with a client who specialise in Petrochemical and Chemical projects. The client is based in Rotterdam and are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. The position available is on a 12-month contract.

Some key responsibilities for this opportunity include:

• Prepare and check the calculations, drawing and reports
• Performance computer analysis of the structures
• Can help with the specifications of the project
• Will perform engineering checks of the drafting
• Will offer engineering support as required
• Participation in the creation of progress reports
• Act as contact point for technical problems

The key requirements for the role I have are:

• A relevant civil structural engineering degree
• Experience within the petrochemical or chemical industry
• Experience with concrete and steel structures
• You have a good understanding of international design codes
• Are confidant in presenting to clients and colleagues
