CAD Designer, Contract Opportunity

An established engineering contractor are seeking an experienced CAD Designer to support the delivery of CAD design and production work across ongoing projects and studies.

This is an office based contract role with an urgent start, offering an initial 12 month engagement.

Role Overview

You will play a key role in producing and managing CAD deliverables, ensuring quality, progress, and compliance with project requirements and applicable standards. The role involves close collaboration with project managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce CAD designs in line with project requirements, plans, and quality systems
• Ensure consistent quality assurance across all CAD deliverables
• Incorporate HSE considerations into design activities
• Maintain CAD templates, libraries, folder structures, and systems
• Support and guide project teams on CAD workflows and best practice
• Participate in projects and studies, with potential responsibility for defined scopes of work
• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal systems and documentation
