We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join a well-established engineering and design company based in Rotterdam, specialising in advanced solutions for the offshore and marine energy sector for a 12 month renewable project in Rotterdam. The business delivers high-quality, innovative engineering products and integrated systems to a global client base, supporting projects from concept through to installation and commissioning.

The Automation Engineer will be required to:

Support design of Automation and control system design

Develop system requirements specifications and functional design specifications

Support Quality assurance procedures

Design, configure Automation systems including PLC and HMI based solutions

Define, manage and maintain interfaces between various disciplines

Validate Automation and control system Design 

Prepare, attend and witness FATs

Support commissioning on site

You will need to have: 

Bachelors in relevant Engineering field

5+ years experience in Automation

Understanding of PLCs, HMIs

Experience on offshore projects and equipment
