About the job:
We are looking for Administrator to support a HSSE Advisor.
Your responsibilities:
• Collate and review Alliance & Contractor HSSE statistical information to include leading and lagging indicators, training, man-hours etc.
• Data inputting to include incident reports, Behavioural Based Safety statistics, observation & Intervention reports
• Oversee data inputting of actions in action trackers
• Review for accuracy all statistical information preparing charts, graphs, tables etc·
• Produce detailed analysis for all leading and lagging indicators:
• Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly reports and issue to the HSSE Manager within agreed timelines.
• Prepare adhoc reports as required
• Provide input into the preparation and update of annual improvement plans and KPI’s
• Participate where required in weekly/monthly reviews
• Attend and actively participate in the daily & weekly Managers meetings
• Prepare safety bulletins, newsletters, posters, campaigns and general communication
• Assist HSSE Manager in scheduling and arranging training (inc updating database)
• Prepare & update project HSSE audit inspection schedule
• Actively participate and promote hazard observation
• Demonstrate a visible and active personal commitment to “why I work safely’
• Demonstrating full commitment to the Project charter of daring to care.
• Maintain standards of HSSE and comply with the Alliance and Company’s Health, Safety & Environment Management System requirements. Take reasonable care of one’s own health and safety and that of others in the workplace. Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements
Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
Qualification/ Certification:
• 3 to 5 years related work experience including 1 to 2 years in similar size / nature of projects.
Skills Requirement:
• HSSE knowledge
• Computer literate – proficient in MS Office, Power point etc.
• Knowledge of internal / external auditing process. (Added advantage)
• First aid training (added advantage)
• Understanding of behavioural based safety approach
Communication:
• Good communication
• Communication skills.(excellent)
• Presentation skills (moderate)
Core Competencies:
• Inter-personnel skills•
