Job Description

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major Data Centre construction project in Frankfurt. Working for a leading international contractor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the project — from planning and procurement through to execution, commissioning, and client handover.

You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards, while maintaining strong client relationships throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of a large-scale data centre project (10MW+), including design coordination, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

  • Manage project teams including engineering, commercial, planning, commissioning, and HSE personnel.

  • Oversee programme, budget, and risk management, ensuring all milestones are met.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and stakeholders, building strong and proactive relationships.

  • Ensure strict compliance with local regulations, permits, and health & safety standards.

  • Coordinate with design and BIM teams to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.

  • Report regularly to senior leadership on progress, KPIs, cost tracking, and change control.

  • Support commercial and contract management including variations, claims, and forecasting.

  • Implement best practices in quality assurance and delivery performance.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years’ experience in construction project management, including data centres, pharmaceutical, or high-tech facilities.

  • Proven track record delivering MEP-heavy, mission-critical infrastructure projects.

  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong understanding of German construction standards and permitting (HOAI, VOB, etc.) is highly desirable.

  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a distinct advantage.

  • EU work eligibility or German residency/work permit is required.

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

We are a globally recognised engineering and construction contractor specialising in high-value, high-complexity projects across Europe. With decades of experience in mission-critical infrastructure, our teams deliver data centres for hyperscale and colocation clients across Germany, the Netherlands, and the Nordics.
