Job Description

Join an established renewable energy IPP with an expanding portfolio of utility-scale solar PV and wind assets across Europe. With a strong pipeline and operational track record, the company is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the long-term performance of its operational assets.

Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, you will take full responsibility for the operational, technical, and financial performance of a portfolio of renewable energy assets (primarily solar PV and BESS). You’ll act as the main point of contact for all post-construction matters, coordinating with O&M providers, grid operators, landowners, and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal asset value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day performance of a portfolio of operating renewable energy assets
  • Analyse SCADA data and operational KPIs to identify underperformance and coordinate corrective actions
  • Oversee O&M contractors and ensure SLAs and contractual obligations are met
  • Conduct site visits and inspections as needed (typically once per quarter per site)
  • Monitor PPA obligations, grid compliance, curtailment issues, and regulatory updates
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and financial models for each asset/SPV
  • Coordinate internal and external reporting, including investor reports, board updates, and audits
  • Interface with landowners, insurance providers, technical advisors, and regulatory bodies
  • Lead warranty claims and insurance processes when performance issues arise
  • Contribute to repowering strategies, end-of-life planning, and ESG reporting

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related technical discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in asset management for renewable energy plants (solar or wind)
  • Proven experience managing O&M contractors and understanding of electrical infrastructure (inverters, transformers, substations, SCADA)
  • Financial acumen: ability to manage budgets, analyse P&L, and interpret performance models
  • Experience with relevant tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Solar-Log, Power Factors, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and reporting skills
  • Languages: Fluent in English
