Leap29 is excited to present a fantastic opportunity to join a leading renewable energy company in Argentina with a portfolio in wind, solar, and storage technologies. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Development Manager to lead the planning and execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects across Argentina. The ideal candidate will have a balanced skill set in project development, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement, combined with a strong understanding of Argentina’s energy landscape and regulatory processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full development lifecycle for wind and solar projects: site selection, land acquisition, permitting, interconnection, environmental approvals, and community relations.
• Manage development schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies to keep projects on track toward investment readiness.

• Leading and mentoring a team of eight people
• Allocate resources effectively, provide coaching and performance feedback, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Identify and evaluate new project opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and policy developments to inform development strategy.
• Represent the company in negotiations with regulators, utilities, landowners, and municipal authorities.

Key Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in energy project development, with experience in a leadership or senior management role.
• Proven track record in delivering complex infrastructure projects in Latin America, preferably in wind or solar energy.
• Deep understanding of Argentina’s permitting, regulatory, and grid interconnection processes.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
