We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with hands-on expertise in AI/LLM technologies to support an exciting GenAI pilot project for a secure, high-impact client. This is a 6-month contract is primarily remote with very occasional on-site requirements in London.

You must hold active SC Clearance (or have previously held SC and be highly likely to pass).

The Role:

This project involves setting up a brand-new environment to support the installation and operationalisation of large language models (LLMs). There’s no existing platform in place, so you’ll play a key role in shaping the CI/CD pipelines, enabling observability, and designing how to promote code across dev, UAT, and test environments, all within an on-premises, open-source ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for GenAI/LLM deployments
• Design and implement the full lifecycle from dev to UAT to test
• Install and configure LLMs using Langchain and Conda
• Ensure robust observability using tools like Prometheus
• Work in an on-prem environment with Kubernetes orchestration
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth code and data transfers across environments

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in DevOps for AI/LLM solutions
• Strong knowledge of Langchain, Conda, and Kubernetes
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Prometheus or other observability tools
• Background in deploying open-source LLM capabilities on-prem
• Active SC Clearance (preferred) or eligible to pass clearance
