Job Description

We are searching for a Senior Leader with multiple years of experience in managing EPC Projects Engineering in the Oil&Gas Sector, and with specific experience in Offshore Topside Process Modules. This position will manage and mentor all Project Engineering Managers and Project Engineers with project engineering responsibility globally.

Responsibilities:

• Review and approve Project Engineering Budget in Firm Tenders
• Responsible the department budget and cost approvals
• Drive company project engineering to On Time on Budget on Quality mindset
• Take appropriate actions and supporting the implementation of continuous improvement strategies for the project engineering discipline
• Identify and manage risks associated with project engineering activities
• Deliver engineering activities through use of systematic documented methodologies
• Develop, document, implement & deliver Engineering Execution methods in in-line with Company strategy in coordination with Operations team.
• Document & implement systematic approach to Engineering for E&P deliveries as well as EPC deliveries

• Responsible to hire train and mentor Project Engineering Managers
• Responsible to assign Project Engineering Managers to each project according to needs
• Responsible to approve and review engineering project team members in cooperation with the Director of Global Engineering disciplines and the assigned PEM
• Responsible to attract & maintain competencies within his department
• Responsible to identify gaps in competency and to recommend action to implement to cover the gaps
• Responsible to develop commercial awareness of the team

Project Execution:

• Ensure that each project will be executed with the right project engineering organization by competence and cost / time efficiency
• Ensure understanding & implementation of Change Management strategy
• Identify risks associated to engineering activities within projects as well as opportunities
• Approve according to NOV strategy and develop the interface and the control  with Detailed Engineering hubs
• Ensure that Engineering work is performed according to PEM, within the timeframe, according to the budget and to the quality level expected
• Attend projects monthly reviews and support projects in specific issues
• Attend meeting when required with Clients

Qualifications and Skills:

• Engineering Technical Master Education
• Proven Experience as Project Engineering Manager in Modularized EPC Process Systems type of scope
• Minimum 15 years of proven experience of working with Oil & Gas, Offshore and Onshore Projects and Clients
• Proven Experience on management of multicultural Engineering and Project Teams
• Proficient negotiations skills
• Good communicator
• Proficient in English both written and verbal
• Understanding of Engineering Software’s and Tools
