Job Title: Electrical, Instrument & Control Engineer


Location: Oslo, (remote / hybrid considered)
Contract Duration: Initial 3 months (with strong potential for extension)
Start Date: Immediate preferred

 

Job Overview:

Our client, a leading organization in the Oil & Gas sector, is seeking an Electrical, Instrument & Control Engineer to support a major EPC tender. This is a critical role requiring an experienced professional who can contribute immediately and effectively. The contract is initially for 3 months, but there is a high likelihood of long-term extension based on project demands.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee instrumentation, control, and electrical engineering aspects of a major EPC tender.
  • Provide technical expertise in instrumentation, control systems, and electrical engineering as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, specifications, and drawings.
  • Support cost estimation, risk assessments, and feasibility studies related to instrumentation & control.
  • Interface with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Previous experience with reputed EPC companies is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI, API, ISO).
  • Experience in EPC tendering, including bid preparation and technical evaluations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
