Business Development Manager - Permanent Position - Thailand
Position Title Business Development Manager, Engineering Operations (EO)
Summary of the role BD Manager that is able to promote and sell the engineering services that are offered by our EO team including engineering design, procurement, construction management, commissioning, qualification & validation (EPCmV), technical advice, project feasibility studies and project management.

This position will spearhead the growth and development of EPCmV activities throughout Thailand. The role will be based in Bangkok, Thailand and will require a close working relationship with the sales offices across the region.
The role will initially focus on the development of Pharma and Food EPCmV services but will expand over time to cover EPCM services for other industries that offer lucrative growth potential for the group.
- Sales and business development, follow up on market project and implement sales acquisition plan for our Engineering Operations division in Thailand
- Recognize and capitalize on new project opportunities from thorough market analysis, staying informed about industry trends, and proactively engaging with potential clients
- Support the joint sales and marketing of Engineering services and products
- Support business development activities on validation and quality tasks across projects
- Co-ordinate project activities and communications between customers and the Engineering Operations division
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, experience in MNC is an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience with proven track record in sales and marketing of engineering and consulting services ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
- Previous experience as design engineer for factory design in either pharmaceutical, dairy or semiconductor is a plus, but not necessary
- Extensive knowledge of international and local guidelines and regulations as applicable to the life science industry
- Excellent communication skills and English level
Other remarks
- Candidate does not have to be technical expert but has understanding of factory design, basic process knowledge, reference to pharma industry is better but not necessary
- 5 years minimum experience doing sales of engineering services, someone from MNC is preferred
- Someone that works with clients selling dairy, semicon or any other highly regulated products
- If you could find sales person that has been a design engineer, would be a perfect candidate but not necessary
