DeltaV Engineer – Short-Term Contract (Remote & Sweden)

Location: Remote (Initial 3 Months) – On-Site in Sweden (Potential 6-Month Extension)
Employment Type: Contract (Short-Term)
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred
Visa Sponsorship: Candidates must have work authorisation for the EU/EEA.

We are seeking experienced DeltaV Engineers to support a short-term automation project, with an initial 3-month remote contract. For candidates willing to travel, there is a potential 6-month extension for on-site work in Sweden. This role will focus on Emerson DeltaV system configuration, troubleshooting, and commissioning in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • DeltaV System Configuration – Develop, modify, and troubleshoot Emerson DeltaV DCS systems.
  • Remote Support & Testing – Work with on-site teams to ensure smooth system implementation and performance optimisation.
  • Control Strategy Development – Implement batch processing, alarm management, and control loop optimisation.
  • Commissioning & Validation – Support on-site teams (if applicable) with FAT/SAT, system validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Documentation & Compliance – Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP, and other industry standards.

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working with Emerson DeltaV DCS in process automation.
  • Strong understanding of control logic, batch processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or industrial automation sectors.
  • Ability to work remotely with potential travel for on-site commissioning in Sweden.
  • Full work authorization for the EU/EEA (visa sponsorship not provided).

Desirable (Bonus Skills):

  • Experience with DeltaV Batch, DeltaV Live, or Virtualisation.
  • Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance for regulated industries.
  • Previous experience in remote support and troubleshooting.
