Location: Madrid (covering the UK, Spain, Italy, and Greece)

Leap29 is hiring on behalf of a leading global renewable energy investor. We are currently seeking a Procurement Manager, where you'll play a key role in sourcing and procuring materials and services for Solar PV, Wind, and BESS technologies.

This position will report to the central corporate function while working closely with local stakeholders across multiple countries. You will be based in Madrid with occasional travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support procurement and sourcing for current and future projects, validating Capex assumptions and advising on vendors and technology.
• Manage local suppliers across the UK, Spain, Italy, and Greece, coordinating RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs for ongoing tenders.
• Collaborate with the origination and development teams to develop accurate regional demand forecasts.
• Identify procurement needs early in the project lifecycle to ensure timely and efficient support.
• Actively participate in supplier negotiations with the Project Team and external advisors.
• Support the project execution phase to ensure successful contract fulfillment.
• Handle administrative tasks, including generating NDAs, reporting, data analysis, forecasting, and preparing presentation

Person Specification:

• Relevant procurement experience within renewable energy.
• Strong understanding of PV technology (knowledge of Wind and BESS is a plus).
• Familiar with legal and contractual terms in the renewable energy sector.
• Proficient in English (Spanish is a plus).
• Experience with procurement of PV modules, inverters, trackers, HV equipment, and services such as EPC, QA,QC, or Technical Advisory.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
• Highly efficient in handling administrative tasks.
