We are seeking multiple skilled and motivated Process Engineers to join our team in Oslo, contributing to an innovative carbon capture project. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize carbon capture processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with environmental standards.
- Conduct mass and energy balance calculations to refine system performance.
- Evaluate process performance using simulation tools and data analysis.
- Identify potential improvements to enhance capture rates and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Support commissioning and start-up activities, providing technical guidance on process parameters.
- Ensure all designs and implementations meet industry regulations and safety standards.
- Participate in risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience levels range from early-career professionals with a strong technical foundation to seasoned engineers with extensive experience in carbon capture, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with carbon capture technologies (e.g., amine-based, membrane systems, or cryogenic processes) is preferred.
- Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS or similar.
- Fluency in English is required; Norwegian is a plus but not mandatory.
