Job Description
Planning Manager – Wind & BESS
You will oversee the planning & execution of large Onshore Wind & BESS, ensuring compliance & effective stakeholder communication.

Key duties & responsibilities:
• Project Planning: Manage and submit planning applications for renewable energy projects.
• Contract Management and Stakeholders: Oversee joint venture relationships and contracts. Communicate with local communities and authorities.
• Evaluate Opportunities: Assess feasibility of potential projects.
• Securing tenders and proposals
• Team Leadership: Lead the team and ensure H&S standards.
• Planning Law - submission of Strategic Infrastructure Development (SID) applications to An Bord Pleanála
• Site visits and Surveys / Environmental Impact Assessment
Education:
• A degree in engineering, environmental science, or planning; town planning
• 3+ years of experience in planning and consents for large renewables or infrastructure projects
• Experience in interacting with government regulatory bodies such as SEAI and bodies such as An Bord Pleanála.
