Job Description
Leap29 is excited to present a fantastic opportunity with a leading global renewables company specialising in sustainable energy solutions. In this role, you will report directly to the Central / Eastern Europe Business Development Director and contribute to the company's business development efforts in the Czech Republic.
Contract: 1-year contract with potential for extension or permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate leads, engage with potential clients, attend public events, and manage the company's existing partnerships.
- Preparing business offers for long-term PPAs
- Leading a project team (engineers, lawyers, analysts. etc.) to deliver tailored offers, ensure financial compliance, and understand client needs (duration, price, technology, CSR etc.)
- Negotiate PPAs with private offtakers and collaborate with subcontractors (EPC contractors, O&M suppliers) to improve offers made to clients.
- Represent the company at Czech associations and public energy events.
- Contribute to defining the company's business strategy in the Czech Republic.
- Stay updated on legal developments in the renewable energy sector.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in the energy sector and in a sales/business development position
- Business / Engineering background
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Fluent in English + Czech (essential)
- Driving license (essential)
