Job Description

Leap29 is excited to present a fantastic opportunity with a leading global renewables company specialising in sustainable energy solutions. In this role, you will report directly to the Central / Eastern Europe Business Development Director and contribute to the company's business development efforts in the Czech Republic.

 

Contract: 1-year contract with potential for extension or permanent role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate leads, engage with potential clients, attend public events, and manage the company's existing partnerships.
  • Preparing business offers for long-term PPAs
  • Leading a project team (engineers, lawyers, analysts. etc.) to deliver tailored offers, ensure financial compliance, and understand client needs (duration, price, technology, CSR etc.)
  • Negotiate PPAs with private offtakers and collaborate with subcontractors (EPC contractors, O&M suppliers) to improve offers made to clients.
  • Represent the company at Czech associations and public energy events.
  • Contribute to defining the company's business strategy in the Czech Republic.
  • Stay updated on legal developments in the renewable energy sector.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the energy sector and in a sales/business development position
  • Business / Engineering background
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English + Czech (essential)
  • Driving license (essential)
