Job Opportunity: Lead Electrical Engineer (Chemical/Petrochemical Projects)

Contract Type: Deta Vast (12-month contract-to-permanent)

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to lead engineering efforts on chemical and petrochemical projects. This is a Deta Vast role, offering the stability of a long-term contract with the potential to transition into a permanent position. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities
Define and refine project scopes based on client requirements, ensuring alignment with realistic project estimates.
Provide leadership and technical expertise in the design and implementation of LV and MV electrical systems.
Conduct manual calculations to validate and optimize engineering designs.
Collaborate closely with Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) teams across the Netherlands to ensure seamless project execution.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in electrical engineering.

Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Extensive experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry, including hands-on expertise with LV and MV systems.
Over 10 years of project-based experience, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software packages.
Knowledge of Industrial Automation systems and processes.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication and leadership skills.
Fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
