Job Overview:

 

Our client, a prominent international E&P consultancy, is seeking an experienced Petrophysicist to join their growing team in Kuwait. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to high-impact projects within a rapidly expanding organization. The role offers a 15-month contract on a residential basis and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of E&P operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

The selected Petrophysicist will bring deep expertise to support various stages of the drilling and completion process. Key responsibilities include:

 

Petrophysical Interpretation & Analysis: Provide expert petrophysical interpretations for pre-drilling, while-drilling, and post-drilling phases, as well as during workover operations.

Real-Time Monitoring: Oversee real-time monitoring and data analysis of petrophysical activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Logging Analysis & Solution Development: Analyze logging activities and propose effective solutions to address challenges encountered during drilling and logging operations.

Data Preparation: Prepare open and cased hole log data for further analysis and operational support.

Expert Assessment: Deliver expert petrophysical assessments to enhance project performance.

Technology Implementation: Review, select, and implement new and advanced petrophysical logging technologies to improve data acquisition and optimize well completion outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with drilling teams, well surveillance, studies teams, and logging providers to drive integrated project success.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

 

 Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience in petrophysics, specifically within E&P projects.

Technical Expertise: Strong background in petrophysical interpretation, logging analysis, real-time monitoring, and advanced data acquisition technologies.

Problem Solving: Proven ability to propose and implement practical solutions to operational challenges.

Collaboration Skills: A strong team player with experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
