Electrical Engineering Lead (Location: Alkmaar, North Holland, Netherlands)

Job Overview
The Electrical Engineering Lead, reporting to the Engineering Manager, will lead a small team of electrical engineers, collaborating closely with the Projects, Maintenance, and Operations teams. The role ensures the safe and optimized operation, maintenance, and configuration of electrical equipment, with a focus on long-term asset operability and maintainability. Primary location is the Alkmaar office, with visits required to onshore facilities in Noord Holland and offshore sites in the Dutch North Sea.

Responsibilities

Serve as Technical Authority for the Electrical discipline and maintain performance standards.
Coordinate the Electrical Engineering team, ensuring prioritization and progression of tasks with quality and timing.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and legislation.
Provide guidance on modifications, improvements, and new projects.
Lead in resolving non-routine issues related to electrical systems and equipment.
Conduct root cause analyses for system failures.
Manage electrical-related projects and supervise contractors.
Stay updated on legislative and industry standards, integrating changes into inspection and maintenance programs.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates have a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering and at least 10 years of experience, particularly in Low and High Voltage systems, Electrical drive systems, and ATEX-rated equipment. Dutch and English language skills are required.
