Electrical Resident Engineer

Location: UK Midlands
Contract Duration: Initial term until April 2025, with potential for extension

Job Overview:
We are seeking two experienced Electrical Resident Engineers to join our team, focusing on projects across the UK Midlands. Each engineer will take ownership of 2-3 project sites, ensuring smooth operations, troubleshooting, and successful commissioning. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-impact projects with an attractive day rate and the possibility of extension beyond the initial term.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee electrical installations, focusing on PV (solar) and Medium/High Voltage commissioning
• Coordinate and manage daily operations on assigned sites to ensure all work is completed to industry standards
• Conduct technical assessments, troubleshoot issues, and support testing and commissioning processes
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain project timelines and safety standards
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and safety regulations on all assigned projects

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in Medium/High Voltage commissioning
• Previous experience with PV (solar) systems is highly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to site management
• Ability to work independently and oversee multiple sites
• UK work authorization is required

Contract Details:

• Work Pattern: 5 days per week
• Day Rate: Highly competitive
• Interviews: Conducted immediately for an ASAP start
