Data Processor (Onshore)
Location: Flexible within Norway, some other locations considered
Contract: 12 months, with potential for extension or a permanent role after the initial duration
Rate: Hourly / daily rate to suit experience and location
As a Data Processor with my client, you’ll be at the heart of managing and processing essential positioning and sensor data for a diverse range of subsea projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring each project phase meets the highest standards, from initial data gathering to comprehensive post-project reporting.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to actively support ongoing operations, working alongside talented teams to deliver precise data on complex offshore projects. Your contributions will help set new standards in subsea services, advancing the industry through innovative data processing techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management - Own the management of positioning and sensor data, ensuring accuracy and maintaining seamless workflow quality.
- Project Support - Support survey projects across all data processing phases, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional client results.
- Procedure Development - Play a key role in refining and advancing data processing workflows to bolster project capabilities.
- Reporting and Analysis - Contribute to project reporting, including route surveys, cable installations, and inspection surveys.
- Training and Mentorship - Support junior team members through training and guidance, fostering a learning-driven culture.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with the Reporting Manager to communicate resource requirements and enhance cable/pipeline inspection workflows.
- Ad Hoc Support - Assist with CAD/GIS deliverables and offshore operations as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Electronics, IT, Data Management, or a related field (equivalent experience may substitute).
- Proven communication and collaboration skills, fluent in both written and spoken English.
