Project Engineering Manager – Malaysia – 24-36 months Contract

The Company

Multinational Ingredient manufacturer supplying services to the food, beverage agricultural and animal nutrition industry.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Build Project Manager will lead the design and execution of safe, regulatory compliant and competitive build capital projects that are operationally efficient, reliable and operate right the first time. You will lead the overall build and design of highly complex build projects including providing direction to external engineering firms, incorporating external and internal design standards and requirements, collaborating across engineering disciplines in the development and completion of engineering deliverables, development and tracking of the engineering schedule and engineering cost estimates.

Candidates Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Lean six sigma.
• Experience with capital planning portfolio management.
• Experience with gap assessment and solution identification.
• Minimum of six years of related work experience
• Other minimum qualifications may apply.
• Three years of supervisory experience (Preferred)
• Familiar with project management tools such as Microsoft project, AutoCAD, 3D software (BEAMS, NAVISWORK or equivalent) & Primavera. (Preferred)
•  Have an understanding on PLC/DCS implementation. (Preferred)
• Knowledge on sequential function chart (SFC) & State Based Control (SBC) will be an advantage.
