Instrumentation Engineer
Job Description
Tasks:
Coordinate with customers and their specialized departments to align on project requirements.
Translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
Contribute to the creation of process flow diagrams (P&I).
Select, design, and specify instruments and fittings.
Choose, design, and specify I&C equipment, control systems, and DCS systems.
Participate in safety assessments and ensure implementation in safety equipment.
Handle technical inquiries and evaluate quotations.
Develop quantity structures or service specifications.
Conduct technical clarifications with suppliers and installation companies.
Support specialist construction management during project execution.
About You:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or certification as a state-certified Electrical Engineering Technician.
Several years of professional experience in industrial or plant planning, particularly in refineries, petrochemicals, or chemicals.
Proactive and communicative, with experience leading small teams and managing multidisciplinary projects.
Familiarity with project management, document management, and occupational health and safety.
Knowledge of explosion protection and plant safety.
Experience with CAE systems and engineering databases.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
