Senior Instrumentation Designer - Europort, Netherlands

Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract working via Leap29, after the 12 months there is a potential permanent position.

My client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Designer to join their team for a 6-month engagement at a client's site in Europoort, with the possibility of an extension. The role involves working on multiple small-scale projects, delivering high-quality instrumentation design in close collaboration with the customer on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead instrumentation design activities, ensuring alignment with client specifications and project goals.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with customers to deliver project requirements.
• Demonstrate a proactive and pragmatic approach, ensuring timely project completion and problem-solving.
• Work independently while reporting regularly to both the customer and the project/lead engineer.
• Ensure accurate documentation, site surveys, and adherence to project schedules and standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in instrumentation design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Expertise in AutoCAD and Smart Plant Instrumentation software for design and documentation.
• Proven ability to manage and switch between multiple ongoing projects efficiently.
• Experience conducting site surveys and working in industrial environments, ideally with VCA VOL certification.
• Fluency in Dutch is required to ensure seamless communication with the client and project stakeholders.
