Leap29 are working with an international engineering and consultancy business, who are recruiting for their Life sciences team in Milan, Italy.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the Project specific estimating procedures & requirements
• Prepare the Cost estimate Plan to be shared with clients
• Develop Project Cost estimate utilizing either “In-House” data, Aspentech ACCE (Kbase) software or Vendor quotations (in the latter case organize and tabulate the received offers also with the support of the engineering team)
• Plan the activities to timely deliver the estimate, in accordance with the project milestones
• Build working relationships and communicate effectively with other departments, particularly where input to estimating is essential
• take part in and liaise with Client’s representative on estimating topics
• Support the sales person for drawing up the sheets costs

Requirements:

• BSc in Engineering or Technical diploma;
• Minimum five years working experience in the role
• Self-motivation, a proactive outlook and good communication skills
• Ability to deal with other disciplines
• Fluent in Italian and English
