Global Resource Planning Analyst

Location: Fornebu or remote / hybrid

Salary: Dependant on experience

 

About the Role:

 

My client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Global Resource Planning Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in optimizing manpower allocation and project planning on a global scale within their organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Project Planning Support:

 

  • Collaborate with estimators to assist in estimating working hours required for projects globally, providing valuable input based on historical data and industry benchmarks.

 

Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP):

 

  • Coordinate and keep updated the S&OP process, ensuring a balanced alignment of manpower supply and demand across each location to optimize resource utilization.

 

Manpower Allocation:

 

  • Implement strategies to ensure effective allocation of workers to avoid under-recovery and inefficiencies across locations, working closely with project managers and department heads.

 

Data Analysis and Reporting:

 

  • Analyse working hours data to identify trends, potential bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and generate reports to support decision-making processes.

 

Working Hours Tracking:

 

  • Retrieve and maintain a comprehensive register of working hours used on projects globally, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

 

Requirements:

 

We are looking for a candidate with solid experience in planning (and possibly cost control) in the energy sector.

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in working hour tracking, manpower allocation, and project planning is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools - Primavera P6 knowledge is essential
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices.
