Ο&Μ QA/QC Engineer – Solar

Leap29 have a fantastic opportunity which is available, as QA/QC Engineer for O&M activities on solar plants across Thessaloniki. The position requires a candidate with an Electrical Engineering degree and experience focused on solar farm projects.

Essential:

Construction, commissioning or operation of RES installations or Power Plants (Solar Farm PV, BESS , Wind or other)

Greek language capability

Desirable:

Quality Management Systems, good understanding or knowledge of RES related IEC standards

Position specification:

• Identify and implement KPI’s for the measurement and monitoring of quality and contractual compliance of O&M activities.
• Organize and participate in audits of
  • Compliance with O&M Contracts
  • site activities
  • Quality Management System
  • HSE and other management systems
• Prepare and review O&M procedures and O&M Manuals and ensure their alignment with management systems.
• Perform reliability assessments of suppliers with the use of CMMS KPI’s and provide feedback to engineering team.
• Extract statistics and perform benchmarking of local O&M teams by utilizing CMMS input (time to respond – time to correct).
• Extract statistics and perform benchmarking of local O&M teams by utilizing CMMS input (Open/closed work orders and % of compliance of maintenance programs with the contractual one).
• coordinate with regional O&M Heads/ PMs for Preventive Maintenance activities compliance purpose and with local H&S Managers for HSE compliance purposes.
• Extract statistics and benchmarking of main vendors by utilizing CMMS input (Failure rates/MTBF).
• Detect, Review, analyze and categorize the causes of common defects and deterioration.
• Propose improved preventive maintenance routines.
• Propose design and installation method changes for improved robustness and reliability of upcoming assets.
• Sign off maintenance programs, monitor and audit compliance with maintenance intervals.
• Provide technical lessons learned reports and feedback to O&M, Engineering, and construction teams.
• Collaborate with procurement team in qualification of suppliers.
