Job Description

Position Overview:
My client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Hengelo. In this role, you will be the right hand of the department head and the lead engineer, with potential growth opportunities into Specialist, Lead Engineer, or even department head roles. You will work on a variety of projects, primarily focused on the design and calculation of complex electrical systems within multidisciplinary environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and calculate complex electrical systems for various projects.
Collaborate with other disciplines such as architecture, process, and mechanical engineering.
Work independently on small projects and assist lead engineers on large projects.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
Deliver high-quality designs that meet customer requirements and project deadlines.
Create comprehensive electrical designs, including specifications, key one-lines, consumer lists, layouts, and tracing documents.
Work on a range of electrical installations from low-voltage to complex systems with large consumers (up to 20 MVA) and grid connections (up to 110 kV).
Design lighting, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
Develop skills in electrical calculations such as arc flash, mains, and high voltage.
Engage in projects aimed at reducing emissions, saving energy, and ensuring safe installations.
Participate in activities ranging from conceptual engineering to construction management.

Qualifications:

Strong background in electrical engineering.
Experience with the design and calculation of complex electrical systems.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in creating detailed electrical designs and documentation.
Interest in further developing skills in electrical calculations.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
