Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in either Eindhoven or Elsloo. This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple industries, including oil and gas, food industry, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals, while actively contributing to the energy transition to meet climate goals. The role promises a diverse range of projects, offering ample variety and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, analysis, and evaluation of structural components and systems for various industrial projects.
Perform structural calculations and simulations to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop detailed structural designs and construction plans.
Participate in site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and provide technical support during construction and maintenance phases.
Contribute to the development and optimization of sustainable engineering solutions to support our commitment to the energy transition.
Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation to support project deliverables.
Assist in the review and evaluation of project specifications, proposals, and contracts.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve engineering processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably within the oil and gas, food industry, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or renewable energy sectors.
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, ANSYS) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
Basic understanding of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, API, ASME).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage, but must be willing to learn Dutch.
