My Client is a large international service company who are currently working on a project in Abu Dhabi for a large IOC. They are searching an advanced process control engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi for a 6 month renewable contract.

The Advance Process Control Engineer needs to have experience in oil and gas well projects to support in:

• Monitoring and support for APC on-site or remotely
• Advanced understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and APC-DCS connection and data flow
• Runs training courses for customers as necessary.
• Works in office and at customer’s site to design, configure, install and commission APC systems
• Design appropriate step test and build dynamic model between manipulated and control variables
• Build and update project documentation for APC implementation 
• Technical experience in developing and deploying multi variable predictive controllers preferably for upstream industry
• Deep knowledge of and experience with programming control logic using the Honey well HAPC
• Very good knowledge of computer configuration and use.
• Technical Expertise in Dynamic Constraint Control as it applies to Advanced Process Control upstream oil and gas wells
• Good client presentation skills, able to conduct workshops & sessions with clients independently
• Able to train & mentor junior engineers

The APC will be required to have qualifications in Electrical Engineering/ Process Control.
