Job Description

We're on the lookout for a talented Lead Structural Engineer to join our team. In this key role, you'll take charge of projects right from the start, turning client inquiries into detailed plans, budgets, and schedules. You'll handle the concept, design, calculations, and engineering of offshore operations, focusing on making sure everything works smoothly. Projects will include designing structures like seafastening, grillages, blade racks, and performing lifting analyses.

What You'll Do:

Plan and Estimate:Turn client questions into project estimates, budgets, and plans.

Design and Engineer: Lead the design, calculations, and engineering of offshore structures.
Make sure your designs are practical and efficient, focusing on seafastening, grillages, blade racks, and lifting analyses.
Use tools like Ansys, Solid Edge, and AutoCAD for your designs and calculations.

Client Interaction: Stay in touch with clients throughout the project. 
Be the go-to person for clients and offshore crews during project execution. 
Travel offshore as needed to oversee projects and solve any technical issues.

Team Leadership:
Keep your engineering team informed and organized.
Manage tasks within the team, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Mentor and guide junior engineers.

Quality Control: Ensure the final reports are top-notch and meet all standards.
Review all deliverables to maintain high quality and accuracy.

Requirements:

MSc. in Maritime, Mechanical, Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a similar field.
7+ years of experience in operational engineering projects, focusing on structural engineering.
Skilled with Ansys, Solid Edge, and AutoCAD.
Experience managing an engineering team and operational projects.
Practical, hands-on experience during project execution is a plus.
