Lead Control Systems Engineer – Den Haag, Netherlands

Contract Duration: 12 Months (Initially via agency, transitioning to direct employment)

Preferred Language Requirement: Dutch Speaking

Our client is currently in search of a Lead Control Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate will be able to specify requirements, evaluate and select control system vendors and provide guidance and attend FAT / SAT.

We're specifically seeking candidates actively working in the Netherlands with experience in Petrochemical, Hydrogen, and Refinery projects.

Responsibilities:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Engineering
• Control System Experience – DCS/PLC
• FEED/EPC Experience
• You agree on the preconditions of the assignment with the customer
• You have regular contact with both the customer and suppliers
• You can define the scope of a customer request and provide support in making a realistic calculation
• You lead a team of 3 – 10 engineers and are responsible for the budget allocated to you, achieving the set milestones and the quality of the work
• Over 7 years of experience in Control System engineering, with a crucial emphasis on extensive experience with Honeywell control systems
• Proficient in managing the main automation contractor and validating the deliverables produced
• Clear and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• A flexible attitude and willingness to carry out work on location at customers' premises
